nikon d7500 - GADGET
Nikon has a refurbed D7500 for just over 700 usd. Or should I consider a mirrorless body and use an adapter for current lenses? Have 12-24 and 105 macro plus original kit lens duo (don’t mind losing kit lenses).

What do you consider a better control layout? Examples? I thought the D5600 I had was excellent for a crop DSLR. The D7500 has me tempted, particularly as I'm seeing Nikon refurbs dipping to US $1000 and below.

I definitely would be interested in the the alleged improvements to the (already great in D7200) AF, plus the metering, plus live view respects aperture thing. The latest is the D7500. Nikon SKIPS model numbers. They went from the D7200 to the D7500. There was no D7300 or D7400.
