Hi, Unless I missed it this was an easy test Just open a cmd as admin window by right clicking the start button and type winsat mem You can do it once or 3 times With all the ddr4 memory now being use Ran test for 9.5 hours and only got 4.8 passes completed. Nothing showed up so I just gonna test the other 8 another night and see if it tests any faster. Only doing 8 gb and can't believe it is that slow; don't remember mem86 taking that long. i just want to know you just need to use the USB stick to make a a new bootable memtest86 , right ? I did a mem test which showed everything was fine.. Im running windows 10 preview build (Latest preview) is there a way to force windows to use all ram? For some reason the bios on this computer is really basic, it only allows you to change the boot order and such, there is nothing in there about memory etc.
